Community
We believe that Greenleys First School plays an important part at the centre of the local community. As such, fostering links with the community is vital to the pupils in developing their life and citizenship skills from an early age.
We have a small but dedicated PTA called the FRoGs (Friends of Greenleys First School) who work in partnership with staff at the school to organise and run charity and school fundraisers.
We offer a range of SPLAT (Stay, Play and Learn Together) sessions throughout the year for parents/carers to help foster stronger home-school links and a better understanding of how to support their children with learning at home.
We offer a weekly ‘Play Cafe’ afternoon run by our Learning Mentor in conjunction with the Family Support Centre where parents/carers, toddlers and FRoGS can meet.
For further information about joining FRoGS or attending our Play Cafe please speak with Mrs Carly Neil in the front office.
